I have had the great benefit and enjoyment of being trained by John Bawden for the better part of a decade. John has a great capacity to tailor personal training to the needs of busy people and the reality of a person’s circumstances, be they family, social, or work commitments or physical capacity. John is not in the business of setting unrealistic goals.
In the first phase of the training I had with John over a number of years, I succeeded in not only dropping a lot of unwanted weight but bulking up with some healthy toned muscle. The latter part of my training with John, for approximately some five years, was a rehabilitative phase after I succumbed to a work related musculoskeletal injury, which could not be diagnosed for some time, but was causing a lot of pain. John reprogrammed my training and became an integral part of my largely successful rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance. He was present at some consultations with my medical advisers and health professionals and worked with, and not against, the advice of those advisers.
